WELCOME

Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I look forward to meeting you soon. Please have a look around and see the number of ways I may be of service to you in your time of need. Life is filled with challenges that affect each of us in different ways. I believe that how we approach and overcome those challenges helps shape us and allow us to experience life to the fullest.

I began my Marriage and Family Psychotherapy practice in Carlsbad out of a desire to use my life experience, education, and passion to help serve the health needs of our community and the surrounding cities. I am committed to assisting my clients make positive changes in their lives.

Through my experience in a variety of settings, I discovered that building a supportive relationship through therapy creates a safe place to explore life struggles, understand difficult issues, learn new skills, enrich relationships, and work through situations to lead a more authentic life.

Creating a safe and supportive environment, where you can feel comfortable, is essential to my practice. In that setting, we can collaborate on how best to understand your situation, identify your goals, and find solutions. I bring a varied theoretical approach, centered on forms of therapy including cognitive behavioral, narrative, brief/solution focused and expressive arts therapy in my work with children. Confidentiality and sensitivity to the richness of cultural diversity is always a priority.

My services include counseling individuals, children/adolescents, families, couples and groups. I welcome you to browse my website, learn more about my background and experience, and see if I may be of support to you. Please don’t hesitate to call and schedule a telephone consultation at: 760-978-9718.
